1. The classic postcard viewpoint
The world-famous shot is taken from the northern end of the village, along Gosaumühlstraße. Houses cascade to the water with mountains behind. Come early morning for soft light and no crowds.
2. The Skywalk “World Heritage View”
High above the village, the Skywalk platform (reached by funicular) gives the aerial-style panorama over the lake. Best in late morning when light fills the valley.
3. The lakefront & Market Square
Down at water level, the Market Square and the swans on the lake make gentler, detail-rich photos — lovely at golden hour.
