By public transport it takes several changes to get there. With us, it starts at your hotel door.

We pick you up in Salzburg, drive you past Fuschlsee and Lake Wolfgang with a photo stop in St. Gilgen, and have you in Hallstatt around 10 am, before the midday crowds. Then the village is yours: the classic viewpoint, the lanes around Market Square, lunch by the lake, the salt mine or the Skywalk. Your driver waits and brings you back to your hotel in the afternoon.

Past Fuschlsee and Lake Wolfgang, with a short photo stop in St. Gilgen.

Around 10:00, ahead of the midday rush. We drop you close to the village centre.

3.5 hours in Hallstatt

Walk to the classic viewpoint, wander the lanes and the lakefront, have lunch by the water, or ride up to the salt mine and the Skywalk.

Back to your hotel

We leave Hallstatt around 14:00 and have you back in Salzburg around 16:00.

Questions about this tour

Private tour or shared trip: what is the difference?

The private tour is your own car and driver for up to 8 guests at a fixed €450, any day you like. The shared trip costs €149 per person: tell us when you are in Salzburg and we will try to put a group together. It runs from 3 guests, and we confirm at least 48 hours before.

What if no shared group comes together?

Then we let you know at least 48 hours before and offer you the private tour instead. You pay nothing unless your trip is confirmed.

We are more than 8. Can we come?

Yes. Ask us for a price for your group. Premium cars are available on request too.

How long is the drive?

About 1.5 hours each way, including the photo stop in St. Gilgen.

Can we stay longer in Hallstatt?

On a private tour, yes: just tell us when you enquire. Shared trips keep to 3.5 hours so everyone is back on time.
